Hellcat gun issues

May 13, 2022 · In today's episode of "I Carry," we have the Springfield Armory Hellcat Pro 9 mm pistol topped with a Swampfox Sentinel red-dot sight and carried in a Blackpoint Dualpoint 2.0 holster. The Hellcat? Because they had some issues with the early P365's with the striker breaking but fixed that. I've never heard of a systemic issue with the Hellcat. P.S. from what the manual says this gun isn't to be dry fired without snap caps. This is the first modern striker fired gun I've heard that can't be dry fired. We didn't need to press the trigger to the side to get it to fail. It just hung up about 30%-40% of the time. And yes, they all occurred during live fire! He shot mine and had no trouble. Overall, the grip was good, picking up the dot and sights was easy, and the gun shot reliably and accurately with no malfunctions or other issues.
